He called me back 10 minutes later and when I described the problem, he immediately said, "buy a new washer." "We have been using Appliance Doctor for over 5 years on 4 apartments we own in the Fan area of Richmond. Key things we find working with him: He is always very quick to respond to our inquiry; He is quick to get to our apartment(s) and perform the work; He lets us know the cost to repair or the cost to replace so that we can decide what the best course of action is. One time when we were having problems with a clothes washer & dryer and historically finding parts was a problem. Tell me the last time you called a technician on Friday evening and get a text back the following Saturday morning? We spent about half hour on phone going thru questions and answers in effort to figure out the problem. Unfortunately, it seems that my problem is not fixable as my fridge is 20 years old and parts are not available. Nonetheless, the professional effort and time spent on the phone was appreciated. I suppose that a technician could want to schedule an appointment for $150 just to tell me my fridge unrepairable. I asked if he would send me an invoice for time on phone and the answer was “nope, I do this all the time and happy to help”. Appliance Doctor is a “go to service” company that understands the customer needs and is honest and fair. Five Stars!
