Inspiration for Appliance Doctor
Minor Wine was the man who inspired and gave me the opportunity to own Appliance Doctor Inc. He convinced me to have faith in myself and believe that I could thrive as a great technician and business owner. I took his advice after a few heart-to-heart conversations in 2009. It has been a blessing and I have him to thank. God rest his giving soul.

Eagle Scout Project
The project was to build a floating boat dock to create a new access point to the Chickahominy River. It will provide a cleaner access point to the water for all civic organizations as well as club members whilepreventing erosion to the river bank. The project was completed under the direction of Daniel Mayo of B.S.A. Troop 555 in Mechanicsville Va.
Walking the Beat to Beat Cancer
It is with great sadness that we inform you of Henrico County Police Division Officer Neil G. Griffin’s untimely death. Officer Griffin passed away on March 8, 2016, after a courageous battle with cancer. He will be truly missed not only by his family, police family, and friends, but also by all the faculty and students whose lives he touched during the many years he served as the School Resource Officer at Byrd Middle School.
